Candle Safety & Buring Instructions

To get the most out of your candle, the first time you light it, make sure you burn it long enough that the soy wax melts all the way to the edge of the container before extinguishing it. Burn for no longer than 4 hours. This will prevent your candle from “tunneling” down the center.
The best way to extinguish your candle is with a wick dipper, this is a long metal stick with a little hook on the end. Gently fold wick and flame into melt pool with dipper and use the hook to gently pull the wick back up straight. This extinguishes the flame without smoke and soot, reducing the smell of burning wick, and primes the wick with wax for your next relighting.
Use common sense please.
Never leave a burning candle unattended, ever! Never go to sleep or leave the house with a  candle still lit. Keep away from drafts and flammable materials. Do not move while burning or while wax is hot. Discontinue use of whole candle when ¼” of wax remains at bottom or if wicks become loose from bottom of jar. Keep wicks trimmed to ¼” at all times. Remove trimmings/"wick balls" from the candle, when candle is cool and solidified, and before relighting. This will help keep your wick from folding over and drowning in the melt pool as well as keep flame from becoming too large. If melt pool becomes deeper then 1/2 inch, extinguish candle and trim wicks.
Only burn on a safe, heat resistance surface. Keep wick centered for an even melt pool. Failure to follow instructions could result in a fire hazard, or injury. Every candle made by any company should always be treated like a potential fire hazard, and safety instructions followed. Never burn any candle for longer the 4 hours at a time. Allow to completely cool in between.
Use caution, candle jars and wax can get hot, and potential burns can occur if handled while hot.
Never try to put out a candle fire with water, water and candle wax do not mix. treat it like a grease fire, smother it, or use fire extinguisher. Never add water to a burning candle.
Never leave a candle on a  cold window sill especially in winter and in cold climates, as when lit the sudden change in temperature from flame and cold glass can cause glass to crack. If jar is cold when you receive, due to shipping in winter please allow your candle to warm up to room temperature before lighting.
